Some guidelines to pay attention to:

All submissions must be provided online through your Indico account.

Please note the specified deadlines.

Submission:

The abstract title should be in capital letters

The abstract title should be as short as possible

If the contribution has several co-authors, please provide them all. Choose the option "Add myself" to add yourself (the person registered with Indico), "Search" to add another person registered with Indico or "Enter manually" for co-authors not registered with Indico. When providing author names, indicate the presenting author using the microphone symbol. Only one of the co-authors can be a presenting author.

The abstract text should specify the study question, main findings and conclusions, plus any recommendations. Keep methods as short as possible.

Apply capitals as follows: White-tailed Sea-eagle' for a taxonomic species, but 'raptors' for a species group

Give scientific names (in italics) at first mention in the abstract text

The abstract text should not exceed 300 words

 

Acceptance of talks

Until November 30, 2024, the Scientific Programme Committee will decide on the acceptance of submissions for talks. Expect a notice after that date.

Submissions not accepted as a talk will be automatically registered as a poster.

After being accepted as a talk:

Accepted speakers are required to provide their final presentation to the registration desk at the latest one day before they are scheduled

The preferred format is PPT (Microsoft PowerPoint) or PDF

 

Poster specifications

Poster boards will be oriented as portraits.

Poster size should not exceed A0 format. A0 sized posters can only be oriented vertically.

It is advisable to bring push pins or velcro, although a limited supply will be available at the registration desk.  

The posters may stay exposed until the end of the conference (evening of April 4, 2025). Timely collection of posters at the end of the conference is your responsibility.

Proceedings

All participants with accepted talks / posters are strongly encouraged to also contribute to the conference proceedings.
